ObjectHunting in Times / Boat with Bird & Bear Shaman, and People (Sculpture)
Shaped by a contemporary sculptural vision, the work of Araham Anghik Ruben speaks powerfully to humanitiy's place within the living world. Sedna carrying a boat filled with people guided by a Bear Shaman at the bow and watched over by a Bird Shaman at the stern. The vessel becomes a powerful metaphor for collective passage and survival - humanity held between forces, sustained by spiritual knowledge and ancestral memory. Moving across the uncertain surface of the sea, the work evokes journeys shaped by adaption, trust, and the delicate balance between the human and the more-than-human world.
